You can say that I'm one curly fry in the box of the regular
Messing with the flavor oh the flavor that you savor
Saving me for last but you better not eat me at all
Living in a fast food bag making friends with the ketchup and salt
People say that I'm crazy for not moving on to better things
Instead I'm sitting around trash talking with the onion rings
But it's much too soon to leave this easy life
Pass me the spoon. Pass the analytical knife

Cause your about to get cut and get cut down
It's all about the wordplay all about the sound in the tone of my voice
You gotta let me make my choice alone before my food gets cold
Better shut up or get shot down. It s all about the know how all just a matter of taste
Stop telling me the way I gotta play. Too much food on my plate.

Choose Something Like a Star

by Robert Frost - 1947

O Star (the fairest one in sight),
We grant your loftiness the right
To some obscurity of cloud --
It will not do to say of night,
Since dark is what brings out your light.
Some mystery becomes the proud.
But to be wholly taciturn
In your reserve is not allowed.

Say something to us we can learn
By heart and when alone repeat.
Say something! And it says "I burn."
But say with what degree of heat.
Talk Fahrenheit, talk Centigrade.
Use language we can comprehend.
Tell us what elements you blend.

It gives us strangely little aid,
But does tell something in the end.
And steadfast as Keats' Eremite,
Not even stooping from its sphere,
It asks a little of us here.
It asks of us a certain height,
So when at times the mob is swayed
To carry praise or blame too far,
We may choose something like a star
To stay our minds on and be staid.

Is anyone else totally fed up with our government?  Am I alone?

Since "President" Bush's 2004 inauguration, there has been a 43% jump in unemployment.  43% of the tax cut he pushed through went to the country's wealthiest 1%.  And let's not forget invading another country without provocation or blessing from the U.N.  And he somehow managed to follow this wonderful work up by awarding more than 1.7 BILLION of government contracts to Vice Pres. Cheney's old company, Halliburton....I guess if someone had to manage the oilfields, it might as well be his close friends.

But if you look at the facts, the Democratic Party's record is almost as bad as the current administration's....sad.

Maybe the reason no one bothers to vote is because they have no candidate that really speaks for them.

Is anyone else disgusted that there are now more shopping centers in America than there are high schools?  Or that we still have not managed to cure cancer, AIDs, or Parkinsons, but we managed to invent Botox, Liposuction and Viagra?

Would anyone else like the number to the White House?  Here it is...202-456-1414.  Do something about where your country is headed!  Call!  Be angry!  Demand change!

More facts:

  • 40% of Americans earn wages below the federal poverty level. 40%!
  • Only 39% of Americans even bothered to vote in the 2002 election.
  • The US makes up 5% of the world's population...and 50% of it's waste.
  • 9,000 US native plants and animals are at risk of extinction.
  • The tobacco industry spends 26 MILLION a DAY to market their products with many of their efforts directed to those UNDER the age of 18.

You know what would be great?  Having a soundtrack to go along with your life....like a song to go with each emotion, each day.  I can't think of anything more awesome...

...Except for maybe Rocky Horror this weekend!
